You should use tapper and connecting wires instead of soldering iron and lead. If you want to use Rework station then follow this step

a) Power up the Rework Station.


b) Choose the exact size of the ic you want to remove


c) Regulate the readings of rework station.

d) Ensure you have paste to apply on the ic you want to remove and repalece.

e) Don't apply too much heat in a particular place at same time.

f) Changing new ic is recommended.
